No experience necessary Learn to make beautiful glass beads in this 2-hour intro workshop with Braden Hammond. Experience the fun of manipulating borosilicate glass in a flame to create beads in a variety of styles including clear, round, square, full colour, dotted and lined. Braden will explain equipment set-up & provide important safety info.

Borosilicate Jewellery Level: Intermediate
Some experience necessary If you have previous glass experience in the lampworking field, this class is for you. Braden Hammond's borosilicate jewellery workshop will introduce you to the ways of clear and coloured borosilicate and show you how to make both on and off-mandrel pendants. Projects in this two-day workshop include a variety of beads, icicles and pendants using decorative techniques such as wig-wag and implosion. Braden will take time to work one-on-one with each student.

Borosilicate Blown Forms Level: Intermediate
Experience required If you are looking to expand your glass knowledge to include creating blown forms then you’ll want to take part in this opportunity. This 2 day class focuses on creating borosilicate perfume bottles with matching stoppers. Techniques covered include pulling points, attaching handles and punties, creating an even heat base, pulling out a bottle neck and creating a blow-out. Learn how to decorate your vessels with a variety of basic colour applications. Braden will spend time one-on-one with each student.
