HAMMOND FINDS A NEW HOME AT VANCOUVER'S BEAUMONT STUDIOS |
| VANCOUVER - NOVEMBER
15, 2005 |
Braden
Hammond Contemporary Art & Glass Jewellery (www.bradenhammond.com)
is pleased to announce the opening of their new studio and gallery
at the Beaumont Studios (316 West 5th Ave. Vancouver, BC). Officially,
the Braden Hammond space will open to the public on December 5th
2005, just in time for the holidays.
Funky, bright, eclectic
and untamed are just a few words you could use to describe hand
blown glass. And Braden Hammond’s line is no exception to
this, however, Hammond has taken it one step further, developing
a new line of glass which you can wear (and covet).
“The beauty
of glass is that each piece is unique which transfers well for the
person who is looking for one-of-a-kind fashion accessories.”
Said Hammond, “my line of glass jewellery has been well received
in Vancouver, I guess there is nothing like a splash of colour to
brighten up a rainy day”. Braden Hammond’s jewellery
can also be found at local design hotspots Twigg & Hottie (3671
Main Street Vancouver, BC) and Dream Local Designer Boutique (311
W. Cordova St. Vancouver, BC).Not limited to wearable art, the Braden

Hammond studio also produces brilliantly coloured vases, bowls,
perfume bottles, globes and much more. The complete collection
can be viewed after December 5th at the Beaumont Studios.
The Beaumont
Studios, is an open concept studio and gallery where artists
of various mediums come together to create and exhibit their
art. Reflective of the eclectic Vancouver art scene, the
Beaumont resident artists offer an array of creativity under
one roof, such as fine art, photography, dramatic arts and
as of December 5th, Braden Hammond’s hand blown glass
art and jewellery. “I am really happy that I found
such a fantastic location.” Said Hammond “The
artists that use this space are tremendously creative and
I think that my glass work will be a nice addition to the
environment ".
The
Beaumont is set up as a funky lounge where everything (including
the décor) is available for sale. In this capacity,
the Beaumont is a great place to experience Vancouver’s
culture, and perhaps take some home with you. Visitors can
also tour the environment and watch the artists in action
through glass walled studios. “There is something
for everyone here, and I know my clients will enjoy perusing
my work while checking out more of what Vancouver’s
art scene has to offer” Said Hammond. |
